Appointment Policy 

 We are an appointment only clinic. This allows us to better schedule our day, which results in less wait time for you.  If the need arises, we try to keep several same day appointments open. Please call to ask about these.

Missed Appointment Policy

 At Pet Care Center at Luna Park, your scheduled appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and your pet. We believe optimal veterinary care can be provided only if we have enough time set aside to adequately examine and diagnose your pet, then discuss treatment options in detail with you.

We will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling needs.  In return, we ask that you help us by keeping your scheduled appointments, arriving on time, and notifying us a minimum of 24 hours’ in advance if you are unable to do so.  When Pet Care Center receives advance notice of cancellations, this allows us to accommodate other patients needing care.  Failure to comply with this policy may necessitate the assessment of the following fees:

  • First missed appointment  – We understand that emergencies will happen. Our staff will call to ensure you and your pet are all right and to reschedule your appointment.
  • If you are a current client with a new pet and missed the first exam, you will need to place a non-refundable deposit for the cost of the next exam fee. This deposit will be applied to your invoice at the time of billing.
  • Second missed appointment– You will receive a phone call stating this is your second missed appointment and that you have been charged a Missed Appointment Fee ($25.00).
  • Third missed appointment – You will receive a phone call stating that you have now missed three appointments and that you have been charged a Missed Appointment Fee ($25.00). Moving forward you will need to place a non-refundable deposit for the cost of the exam fee. This deposit will be applied to your invoice at the time of billing.

Surgery or Dental Cleaning Cancellation Policy

Any surgery or dental cleaning appointment that did not get cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance will require a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to reschedule. This deposit will be applied to your invoice at the time of billing.

Late Arrivals Policy
Appointments involving clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered “Missed Appointments” and will need to be rescheduled.  All new clients should plan to arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to appointment.

 

New Client First Appointment Policy

  • When scheduling the first appointment we will collect a non-refundable deposit for the cost of the exam fee. This deposit will be applied to your invoice at the time of billing. If you need to re-schedule or cancel this appointment we ask for a 24 hour notice.  *Failure to provide a 24 hour notice of cancelation may result in loss of your deposit.

ALL ABOVE FEES WILL BE ASSESSED PER PET IN CASES OF MULTIPLE PET APPOINTMENTS.

Payment Policy 
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash, Care Credit, and Scratch Pay.
