Appointment Policy
We are an appointment only clinic. This allows us to better schedule our day, which results in less wait time for you. If the need arises, and your pet should need to be seen that day, calling ahead will allow us to ‘work’ you into the schedule.
Missed Appointment Policy
At Pet Care Center at Luna Park, your scheduled appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and your pet. We believe optimal veterinary care can be provided only if we have enough time set aside to adequately examine and diagnose your pet, then discuss treatment options in detail with you.
We will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling needs. In return, we ask that you help us by keeping your scheduled appointments, arriving on time, and notifying us a minimum of 4 hours’ in advance if you are unable to do so. When Pet Care Center receives advance notice of cancellations, this allows us to accommodate other patients needing care. Failure to comply with this policy will necessitate the assessment of the following fees:
- First missed appointment – We understand that emergencies will happen. Our staff will call to ensure you and your pet are all right and to reschedule your appointment.
- Second missed appointment – You will receive a phone call stating this is your second missed appointment and that you have been charged a Missed Appointment Fee ($25.00).
- Third missed appointment – You will receive a phone call informing you that you have now missed three appointments. You will no longer be able to make an appointment with us. We will work you in, if our schedule allows. There will be an additional walk-in fee of $15.50.
Surgery or Dental Cleaning Cancellation Policy
Pet Care Center reserves the right to charge a $75.00 fee for any surgery or dental cleaning appointment not canceled a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Late Arrivals Policy
Appointments involving clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered “Missed Appointments” and will need to be rescheduled. All new clients should plan to arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to appointment.
ALL ABOVE FEES WILL BE ASSESSED PER PET IN CASES OF MULTIPLE PET APPOINTMENTS.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash, Care Credit, and Scratch Pay.
