Veterinarians

Dr. Su-Chin Dean-Griffith

Veterinarian

Su-Chin obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Washington. She was involved with the study of small mammals and songbirds in their natural environment. This special interest carried over into her veterinary studies as she had great fun from rehabilitating Eagles in Sitka, Alaska to hormone studies of endangered species at the National Zoo. She is a graduate of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, class of 2001. Immediately post-graduation she did an internship in small and exotic animal practice with Dr. Douglas Mader at Marathon Veterinary Hospital, Marathon, Florida. After that, she spent several years practicing in the beautiful and very cold Fairbanks, Alaska. Family life has brought her and her husband, Bob, closer to home. She is now interested in focusing on small animal medicine and making Pet Care Center the best hospital in West Seattle.

Dr. Bob Griffith

Veterinarian

AAFP Certified Cat Friendly Professional

Bob was born and raised in Normandy Park. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Washington State University (WSU), Masters in Science degree in Biology from Eastern Washington University, and Graduated from the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Along the way he worked on field studies of small mammal, bird and plant populations in Northeastern Washington and the Charles R. Conner Museum of Zoology at WSU preparing study skins and identifying specimens through dental characteristics. After graduating from veterinary school he moved to Fairbanks, Alaska and spent four wonderful, snowy, cold and busy years of practice in a multi-doctor facility. With the birth of their first child, he and his wife Su-Chin moved back to the Seattle area to be closer to family and friends. Bob’s passions in life include his family, photography, woodworking as well as nature and the outdoors. One of his main focuses now is continuing the quality reputation of Pet Care Center and establishing it as the most reputable veterinary hospital in West Seattle.

Dr. Kristen Mozeika

Kristen grew up in Normandy Park and attended Mercer Island High School before heading to the Midwest for undergrad and grad school. She obtained her Animal Science degree from University of Minnesota and then graduated from veterinary school in 2018 at Purdue University. She concurrently finished her Masters degree in Public Health in 2018 from the University of Minnesota. She practiced in the Indianapolis area for five years before moving back to Seattle with her partner, Weston, and their 3 dogs and cat. Kristen’s veterinary passions include dentistry and oral health, nutrition, behavior and proper pain management. In her free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs, competing in dog sports, traveling, and all things Disney.

Dr. Elizabeth Reese

Relief Veterinarian

Dr. Liz Reese is an east coast transplant and moved to Seattle from just outside NYC in 2021.  She’s been practicing as a small animal veterinarian since her graduation from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.  Dr. Reese has an unconditional love for animals which was happily fostered by her family from an age before explicit memories were even possible.  What she can recall are countless zoo and game preserve trips with her parents, nature walks with her Pop Pop and uncles, late night animal planet binges with her Grammie, and relentlessly begging for her very own cat at age 7 when there was simply nothing else that would end her thumb-sucking habit. (It worked – she stopped cold turkey the day Noelle came home). One cat quickly became three as her family simply couldn’t believe they’d gone so long without the love of a pet in their lives! Dr. Reese is passionate about the human-animal bond we have with our fur babies and feels so much honor and pride being a part of your special relationship with your pets. She believes in an individualized, holistic approach to your pet’s health and happiness and wants to hear your story.  She practices with compassion, empathy, and a fear-free approach and will always advocate for your pet’s wellbeing by ensuring you are properly educated to make the best decisions for you and your pet’s circumstances.  Dr. Reese currently provides relief coverage for various clinics in the greater Seattle area but has a special preference for PCC Luna Park with their wonderful clients and staff!
